"Seldom do my emotions have beginnings or endings, only points when I become aware of them before they fade away or reshape into something entirely different. It's my fascination with this concept that fuels my art."
Working primarily in pastels, Jennifer draws on her love of flowers as a starting point for her pieces. Focusing more on motion and metamorphosis than actual subject matter, the viewer gets a sense of the organic while the vibrant colors invoke a wide range of emotions.
Current works reflect a closer look at the conflicts that combine to form a whole, a challenge to definitive beginnings and endings, and an exploration of the mind's ability to sugar coat basic emotional responses.
Jennifer grew up in eastern Massachusetts and currently resides in Forest Park, Illinois. Her pieces have been shown in New York, Boston, and Chicago amongst other major cities and are part of private collections across the country.
